Preventive Care

Preventive care is critical to your health. Regular visits for examinations, x-rays, and cleanings ensure healthy teeth and gums. For our younger patients and those who need a refresher, our team provides thorough explanations and education about how to properly brush and floss, as well as recommendations for your individual dental care.

Do you love your smile? Cosmetic dental procedures can help you have the smile you’ve always wanted. If your teeth are stained from coffee, smoking, or other reasons, professional teeth whitening can make your teeth up to eight shades lighter in less than an hour.

Tooth loss can impact every aspect of your life. When a tooth falls out or is extracted, the remaining space will allow the adjacent teeth to shift. This can cause problems with chewing, speaking, and appearance. A permanent solution for tooth replacement is a dental implant. An implant consists of a titanium post implanted into the jaw and a crown, or custom-made, natural-looking artificial tooth. Once placed, an implant will look and function exactly like a natural tooth.

Tooth replacement may also be provided with dentures or bridges. A bridge may be attached to the teeth adjacent to the space or via implants. Dentures are removable for cleaning and can replace a few teeth (partial denture) or all of your teeth (full or complete denture).

We offer sedation dentistry for times you feel anxious and need help during a dental procedure. We have oral sedation and in our Columbus location, IV sedation. If you are feeling anxious, let us know so that we can discuss your options.

Our services also include, but are not limited to:

Root Canals

Wisdom Teeth Extraction

Periodontal Procedures

Mouthguard Fittings

& More!

TMJ Treatment

The temporomandibular joints (TMJ) allow you to open and close your mouth. The muscles, ligaments, and jaw bone work together to aid in talking, chewing, and more. When something, for example teeth grinding, causes a problem in any of the components of the joint, a painful TMJ disorder can result. Our dentists can assist in treating the pain by creating a custom mouthguard to assist in realigning the jaw during sleep, medications, or jaw-strengthening exercises.

Sleep Apnea

Sleep apnea is a condition in which the soft tissues in the back of the throat relax during sleep and block the airway. Snoring generally accompanies this disorder. The temporary disruption of sleep can happen hundreds of times each night. Left untreated, it can cause heart problems, stroke, high blood pressure, headaches, and more.

Your dentist may be able to treat sleep apnea with an oral appliance that is similar to a sports mouth guard. The appliance pulls the lower jaw forward, moving the soft tissues so that they do not block the airway during sleep. If you think you have sleep apnea, please talk to your dentist today.
